Can’t remember much from Gone Greek Night besides making out with a freshman (or three)? After the jump, Party Report gives you the rundown on this weekend’s happenings.

Every Monday, Party Report returns to sobriety and recaps the week’s biggest, trashiest events. For posterity. And for you.

Wednesday night: Kappa Kocktails on Simpson
A dead Wednesday night leads to a dense apartment full of select upperclassmen glitterati who don’t always get along. The party—given for a senior’s birthday—combines Sig Ep, Lodge, and Delt seniors who keep it cordial, especially as the overhyped “cocktails” flow. As baskets of sweet-potato fries and grilled cheeses cool on the mantle, the tension dissipates and people start…getting along. Could this mark the beginning of senior class’ kumbaya phase? Despite the hiccups, people leave wondering why Kappa doesn’t throw down in its centrally located Simpson Street fortress more often. “Great party and all, but what’s with the grilled cheese?” we overhear on the stairs outside.

Friday Night: GGN Rundown
After an evening spent singing on porches and exchanging roses, NU’s Greek scene piles onto buses and heads to bars (and bowling alleys?) downtown. Highlights of the night include one pairing’s $20 open bar—leading to a junior on an elevated platform flashing her boobs to the crowd, at which point bouncers toss the guy dancing behind her away and declare the zone a girls-only space. Later, said boy tries to buy his way back on stage. “You just gave us all the tips we gon’ need tonight,” a bouncer says, smiling.

A four-man wolf pack heads to Chicago’s hip club Cuvée—where the existence of the financial crisis is as much in doubt as the existence of gays in Iran.

Friday Night: GGN Post-Game
Right after getting out of a sloppy gone greek night event, a couple of juniors and several Northwestern alumni head to ritzy club Le Passage. After the smokey cheap SkyBar, a deep-pocketed friend buys bottles of the finest alcohol for his friends. When the group winds up at the Admiral, someone proclaims himself the “King of Chicago.”

Friday Night: Gone GDI Night
Unaffiliated ladies and gents attend the annual Sherman and Noyes “Non-Greek Night,” and they are thirsty. The keg’s tapped by midnight and the beer pong queue stretches to two hours. Two room apartment, two pong tables, two sound systems…one of which is commandeered by a Chicago South Sider who uses it to profess his unlikely love for Toby Keith.

Friday Night: Mee-Ow Afterparty
After the late Mee-Ow performance, a fan/friend of the show throws an after-party in his top-floor apartment across from B.K. Dancing commences in the living room, whereupon a freshman dances on an amp to The Strokes. Next thing you know, he falls backward onto the television, breaking the plasma screen in the process. (He is unhurt.) Dancing resumes in the darkened kitchen, and doesn’t stop ’til 4 in the morning.

Saturday Night: Garnett loves Gaga
At a Lady Gaga-themed birthday party on Garnett, guests go all out with the costumes. We spot everything from sparkly hot shorts to a tulle headpiece to an highlighter orange wig. A lot of repeat and false-start songs are played but a good time is had by all as the keg flows aplenty, leading to a one-night Bad Romance for some.

Saturday Night: Lodge Birthday Celebration
A large group of Lodge juniors head downtown to celebrate a brother’s birthday. The boys start at Manor shortly before midnight, where they are welcomed with a champagne bonanza. With alcohol kicking, it takes very little before people are on the tables dancing. Around 2 a.m., while the group is heading back, a four-man wolf pack heads to Chicago’s hip club Cuvée—where the existence of the financial crisis is as much in doubt as the existence of gays in Iran. It is heard that the last member of the group makes it back to Evanston at 5 a.m. after getting some exposure to Ukrainian culture.
