A breakdown of how the Intel community was feeling this week, after the jump.
Chet Haze inspires haterz
There was no escaping the topic of NU’s Hollywood prince this week; not even by ignoring Northwestern entirely and going to places such as the Washington Post. Less than 24 hours after “White and Purple,” dropped, Gawker (and Intel) picked it up and soon Northwestern had another unsanctioned PR boost. Quickly following the limelight though, came the disgusted and (let’s be honest) somewhat jealous masses. Although, to be fair, not all of them were bad. Some were, in fact, very, very creepily flattering. Our fave: “Everybody wants to be you. You’ll have a following,” from “Stevo.” Watch out Haze, you’ll soon be receiving bits of people’s hair in addition to photos from adoring fans.

Yogis bring it
Our snapshot of the sometimes crazy sometimes serene yogi Stu Getz prompted comments on Getz’s fear-inspiring awesomeness as well as on whether or not Bikram yoga is a valid exercise. While we can’t comment on the first, after reading the piece we can most assuredly say Bikram is not something to take lightly, especially in Getz’s class. Our fave: “If you want a real physical and mental challenge, join a serious school of yoga like Ashtanga,” from “Anon. Yogi.” Duly noted, but seeing as we can’t see ourselves doing Bikram, going any higher may be a bad idea.
