A year after the orgasm-heard-round-the-world, sex-crazed students are left with a void in their Winter Quarter schedules with the news that Prof. Bailey’s Human Sexuality class will not be offered this year. While NU silenced the scandal of the fuck-saw, there are plenty of courses being offered next quarter that will satisfy your desires and allow you to freely explore sexuality. Intel has braved the waters of CAESAR to come up with a list of the best Human Sexuality replacements. Sure, they may not offer the same experience as Human Sex, but they’ll come close — or just talk about sex in some obscure way. Check out our complete list after the jump.

PSYCH 384-0-20: Close Relationships: If you’ve ever wondered what that casual fuck-buddy relationship means about you as a person, look no further than Close Relationships. Sure there’s some science involved, but who cares as long as it explains the mechanics behind dormcest.

SOCIOL 216-0: Gender and Society: Sure, glass ceilings aren’t the sexiest, but surely childbearing and sexuality are. And the class on “sex sells” advertising will at least be titillating.

GNDR 210: Sexual Subjects: This class is being offered for the first time next quarter, but the name alone should be enough for you to take it. Also, it doesn’t hurt that Lane Fenrich teaches the course.

GNDR 332: Gender, Sexuality, and Health: Female Pleasure: Someone out there thinks the fucksaw is a form of female pleasure, so we’re sure you can casually bring it up in this class.

GNDR 373: Gender and Sex in the Moving Image: You won’t be watching porn, but there’s sure to be a few sex scenes thrown in here and there. And if feminist film theory gets you hot and bothered, this is the class for you.

HISTORY 300-33: Sex and European Feminism: So yes, this will be largely historical perspective on feminism. But who says Simone de Beauvoir can’t be sexy?

HISTORY 361: Sex and Scandal in Early Modern England: Slut-shaming, cross dressing, and sexual reputation. No this isn’t a night out in Boys’ Town. It’s Early Modern England — where the dresses were big, the rulers kinda gay, and the scandals outrageous.
