Northwestern turns 160 years old today, but we don’t think the university looks a day over 101. Ah, the modern miracle of a good facelift. Jan. 28, known as Founders’ Day, marks the day when the Illinois legislate approved Northwestern’s Act of Incorporation in 1851. To commemorate the 160th Founders’ Day, students can light a virtual candle on the alumni association’s website. We were kind of hoping for a giant birthday cake.
