NU’s endowment ranks 9th in the nation

It looks like the recession is coming to a close, at least for top-tier universities. The Huffington Post compiled a list of U.S. colleges with the most money in the bank, and Northwestern comes in at ninth in the nation. NU saw a 9.2 percent increase in its endowment over the previous fiscal year and will finish 2010 with $5,945,277,000.
