How have your friends reacted to you leaving?
Activism!
And by that you mean?
They’re trying to keep me here by resorting to Facebook groups and guilt [laughs].
You’re about to leave Northwestern, what will you be doing?
I’m transferring to the Art institute of Houston. I’ll be pursuing a Bachelors of Science in audio production and playing music.
A cappella: yes or no?
Yes.
What was your favorite NU moment?
One day, I was walking by the lakefill, and there was a someone doing a performance art project and she called us over. She was standing on a bench, and she had a bunch of balloons tied to a pile of rocks. She had us write down something that we wanted to let go of, and cut the balloon and let it go.
What did you write?
That’s personal. Everybody had to turn away when you wrote on the balloon.
What’s your drink?
Beer. Miller high life.
What’s the best course at Northwestern?
Modern Cosmology. I go to that class and I’m not even in it! I just go to the lectures.
And what’s the worst thing about NU?
[Long moment of silence accompanied by wide eyed gazing in to the distance. Pause.]

Kappa Delta. I think two of my friends are in it.
What turns you on?
The sun. It’s a Beatles reference.
Tell us about your favorite Sodexho-provided meal. What is it?
Hinman stir fry.
The Keg or The Deuce?
Deuce. It’s just the only place I’ve been.
Favorite place to dine in Evanston?
Dixie Kitchen, cause they give you bottomless silver dollar pancakes and butter instead of chips and salsa like other Mexican places. And they have gumbo.
Your best friend from high school is visiting, where does he/she sleep?
In my bed.

How long were you at the last basketball game for?
Zero minutes.
Where do you go to be alone?
South beach.
What would you tell a high school senior about Northwestern?
I would say that its a private school that wants to be a state school.
