Forget all of the beautiful images that glisten in the glossy admissions’ brochure. The picturesque lakefill? It’s only warm enough to really utilize for two months a year. A perfectly framed photo of the Chicago skyline? Students can probably count the number of times they venture into the city in a year on both hands.
