Oh, college acceptance letters. Envelopes full of hope and excitement for the future. Your ticket out of your crappy suburb. Friday, 76 high school seniors were filled with this feeling of joy and anticipation after reading their acceptance letters from Vassar. Too bad they weren’t really acceptance letters. Vassar accidently sent out acceptance to these students, instead of denial letters, and realized its mistake 20 minutes later. It’s okay though because Vassar is refunding the students’ $65 application fee. Yes Vassar, that will make up for crushing the hopes and dreams of a bunch of emotionally fragile high school kids.
