If a character or narrator in a creative work says bigoted or offensive things, it does NOT follow that the work’s creator is bigoted or is being offensive. By your logic, the Huck Finn censorship movement is justified. It isn’t.
Also, if any gays are offended by THAT, they’re waaaaay oversensitive.
the hashtags indicate a terrible, terrible idea for a sensationalized blog. this is borderline yellow journalism or libel.
Was anybody actually offended by this (clearly fictional) story? Or did you guys just see something that you knew could maybe offend somebody, somewhere and write up a headline you knew would generate hits? I don’t even know why I’m validating you assholes with my page view or my comment.
