Message Board Ridicule critiques the posters from wildcatreport.com for their absurdity and over-the-top fandom. We’ll scrutinize their knee-jerk reactions to plays and games, while calling attention to their delusions about the current and future state of NU athletics.

Smokeyjoecat from wildcatreport.com, in a post from Sunday at 5:50 PM, discusses Mike Kafka vs. Tim Tebow: “Although his supporting cast is not like Florida’s,I don’t see much of a difference between Mike K and Tebow. Around the Big Ten,Kafka has a better arm than Pryor or Clark. What do you guys think?”

Wow, smokeyjoecat. I’m not a huge Florida fan, but I’m fairly certain Tebow became the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy in 2007. He’s considered one of the greatest college football players of all time, is three rushing touchdowns shy of tying Herschel Walker for the all time SEC record, and has won two national titles in three seasons at Florida. But hey, Mike Kafka once ran for 217 yards against Minnesota! The New York Times also reports that four or five women have tried to take topless pictures with Tebow over his time at Florida. I’ve only seen that happen in Evanston once, and it was in core on the last day of reading week, Winter 2007.
