Living wage movement may be at a standstill
The living wage campaign may have hit a roadblock from the administration. In a press conference last night with movement organizers, coordinator Adam Yalowitz, a junior, said that after several meetings with the administration, “they basically confirmed their opposition to the principles of paying workers a living wage.”
“While they say they want to ensure that the workers have all their needs met, clearly they don’t actually mean that,” he says. more
