Mystery company bankrolls free Edzo’s today
If you read our Twitter Roundup you would know that, according to @bkevanston, a burger shouldn’t be ruled out as health food. But nothing about an Edzo’s burger or oh, so delicious fries makes us feel anything but gluttonous. This feeling can be justified, however, when said food is free and said free food just so happens to coincide with the end of a hellish week of midterms. From 1:30 to 3:30 today, Edzo’s is offering free food, sponsored by Spark Energy. What is Spark energy? We’re not really sure. But that’s okay because neither is Edzo’s. When calling to confirm the event, I asked what exactly this mystery company was and why they’d want to fund such an event. “I don’t know, look it up,” was my response. Oh, well. Free food is free food, and if it’s free, it’s me.
