This was a pretty uneventful week in the Big Ten. Still, some tidbits were cleared up. Purdue excels at fumbling, Wisconsin is still legit, Illinois is still bad, and Iowa remains just plain strange.

Michigan St. 26 #22 Michigan 20:
Considering Michigan only beat Notre Dame, who I still refuse to call anything better than decent, this shouldn’t be a shock. The Spartans disappointed in their first four games, and hosting an in-state rivalry in a must-win game was the recipe for them to get back on track. On a sidenote, my friend from Michigan traveled to East Lansing for the game and called Spartan fans annoying. What’s that phrase about a pot calling a kettle black? more

Iowa does it again
