Longboards journey back to the future with a hover
Christmas has come early for those of us waiting until 2015 to see the premonitions of Back to the Future come true. First, let’s take a trip back to six months ago when the mythical self-lacing NIKE MAGs were unleashed. Now picture Marty McFly escaping from his nemesis, Biff Tannen. Yep, it’s the hoverboard’s turn. Mattel is getting a head start on tomorrow’s technology by releasing full-scale replicas of McFly’s contraption that the sequel’s director always insisted was real. Prepare to out-swag that kid on Sheridan you raise your eyebrow to, but secretly envy because he is riding a Razor, the original kick scooter. Please though, don’t get your hopes up too high. more
